A snap of a branch catches both trainer and beast’s attention. Mirela turns to greet her opponent with a smile and a wave, while her partner had other plans. After a loathsome encounter in the forest the alien was dying for a release. The tension around her was tangible, but her trainer did little to sooth her other than say a few words to her opponent:

“lartă-mă.”

The fight ensues between the two psychic types. For a Pokemon with only one attack, she was doing well against the fussy Elgyem in their battle. Blow for blow they fought with the latter’s trainer being silent during their fight.

“You aren’t sayin’ much to your alien, sweet.”

Mirela sighed and turned to the one-eyed woman. “She does not listen. We have…” her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth as she thought of the correct term, “communication issues. I will stop her if she hurt your Pokemon much more.”

A sudden burst calls both of their attentions to the battlefield; Dais’ temper gets the best of her as she slams her hands on the ground. A low rumble rolls through the earth and suddenly jagged rocks burst forth one after another in an imperfect circle around creatures. The elgyem lifts her head along with several pointed rocks from the ground and takes aim. With one silent order, the needles slice the air as they fly towards the unown.

In the midst of all the chaos, Mirela cannot help but watch the combination move of Confusion and Rock Tomb in utter awe. She would have to experiment on the mix of attacks again, perhaps it’d be useful if they lived through the training.

With an exhausted huff, Dais floats up and shoots forward for the next part of the race. “Dais wait!” Her trainer adjusts her boots and turns back towards the one-eyed woman with a twinge of regret. “I beg forgiveness, Honeybee. Good luck in the rest of this race!”

Because I'm so very clever I added Mirela's boots in the top corner as a very sorry excuse of having her in the picture. I really hope it doesn't throw off the main focus, bluh. Also edited some stuff on suggestion from my friend.

Ada is so popular this round, but that's probably because she's so freaking cool. ;3 But you have no idea how many times I misspelled "Sweet Pea" as "Sweat Pea."
